New Paltz, NY started issuing licenses today!
Cities issuing marriage licenses regardless of the gender of the applicants:
San Francisco, California
February 12th - present
3,300+ licenses to same-sex couples.
City of Bernalillo, Sandoval County, New Mexico
February 20th only
36 licenses were issued before NM Attorney General ordered a ceasation.
New Paltz, New York
February 27th -
20+ licenses issued thus far.
The mayor of Schenectady, New York is also considering the move.
Cook County (Chicago) is looking at the issue as well.

I live about 15 minutes from Schenectady, and about an 1.5 hours from New Paltz. It is really exciting to see all of this progressive civil rights type stuff happening in my back yard. I wish I knew someone that was taking advantage of it, so that I could celebrate with them.
